Near-ta Theatre’s Christmas.Time. in The Great Hall

The Great Hall is extra special at Christmas and the towering tree and twinkling lights add a spark of festive magic to the grand venue. The perfect setting for a bit of Christmas theatre, Near-ta Theatre will have you in fits of giggles at their family friendly performance of ‘Christmas.Time’. Choose between a matinee show at 2pm or an evening show at 6pm, then settle into your seats ready for some holly jolly entertainment.

‘Christmas.Time’ is a musical comedy that follows the story of two cellmates Charlie and Toby, who have been banged up behind bars over Christmas. They’re naturally feeling pretty down in the dumps, but decide just because they are serving time at Her Majesty’s pleasure, they shouldn’t miss out on all the festivities. And so, they embark on a fantastical adventure through Dickens, pantomime, musical, Christmas dinner and Christmas films. A real crowd pleaser and often referred to as ‘comedy genius’, Christmas.Time will be celebrating it’s tenth year of touring.
